When it comes to staying in the Great Smoky Mountains you can spend your nights in the Park (with limited options) or in a more modern facility within a few miles. It is always important to book your stay well in advance, especially if you plan to visit during the peak season. It’s recommended that you book six month in advance to make sure you get your top choice.

While the Le Conte Lodge is the only in-park lodging option, there are many other choices in the surrounding areas. You just need to decide your preference in terms of staying on the Tennessee side or the North Carolina section.
